Intersections are places where roads meet, choices are made, collisions happen
and directions change.
I’m interested in spiritual intersections, places where eternity and reality meet. Some things are written on the soul of every person, pointing to the fact that there is more to this life than just what we see. Many everyday experiences speak to this truth: the electric charge of young love, grief when a loved one dies, fear in a crisis, gratitude in times of blessing, standing in awe on the rim of the Grand Canyon or the joy of holding your newborn in your arms. Reality has layers for those with eyes to see. Those layers point to our Creator.
Pain, nature, ideas, culture, choices, emotions, creativity, relationships, the scriptures, significant conversations. These are the places where ordinary intersects supernatural. What happens during and after those moments is worth a blog.
